EoM_MaleCongratulations to Santosh K., AST’s Employee of the Month for August 2018!  Santosh is being recognized for his hard work and dedication to AST’s Managed Services Practice and clients.  His ongoing commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in his contributions.  Santosh is a valuable team member and a high contributor for AST and its Managed Services Practice.

This year, Santosh has demonstrated exceptional project delivery and practice development skills, exceling in several areas.  He has self-taught and obtained certification in Cloud ERP, independently addressed complex Cloud ERP support issues, and made the extra effort on a Cloud ERP R13 upgrade to deliver the project on-time and within budget, meeting customer expectations.

Santosh has also been recognized as a key contributor on one of AST’s largest accounts, helping to build client confidence and secure a significant contract renewal.  He has demonstrated strong work ethic as a team player and is definitely leading by example!

These examples of Santosh’s commitment to AST and its clients represent exactly the level of exemplary customer service, dedication, and sheer excellence that our customers deserve.

AST Employees local to our Naperville headquarters gathered on Saturday, August 18 for the Annual AST Summer Event!  This year’s event was held at Topgolf-Naperville, where our team members and their families enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of golf, good food and drink, and even better company.

Thanks to everyone who joined us!  It’s always a great time when our team and their families get together.

Team AST is hitting the links today at the Buffalo Golf Course in Sarver, PA for the Pittsburgh Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) Annual Golf Outing!  Played in a scramble format, the annual event brings Oracle users and experts together for a fun day of golf, networking, food, and prizes.

This Sunday, August 12, 2018, Indian Community Outreach invites you to attend the 4th Annual India Day Parade & Celebration, taking place at Knoch Park in Naperville, IL!  AST is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event!

Started in 2015, India Day has quickly grown into one of the largest Indian American festivals in the U.S.  It is instrumental in bringing Chicagoland and Midwest communities together to experience Indian Culture and Heritage.

India Community Outreach and AST invite you to join us this Sunday in Naperville for a celebration and parade featuring colorful Indian Folk, Classical, and Modern dances, food and drinks, children’s events, a fashion show, shopping, and a free concert by Bollywood rock star, Sukhwinder Singh!

The day’s events will begin at 11:00 AM CDT and last all day, until 9:30 PM CDT.  Join us in celebrating Indian culture and 71 years of India’s independence this Sunday at Knoch Park in Naperville – 724 S. West Street.

The rewards program, MakeItCount™, which is sponsored by AST customer Drop Tank, LLC, allows members of select rewards programs (such as Southwest Rapid Rewards®, La Quinta Returns®, and others) to earn points at thousands of participating Marathon gas stations, based on their preferences.

Drop Tank, which is based near Chicago, IL, specializes in gas station loyalty technology and loyalty solutions, with thousands of participating locations. Drop Tank partners with fuel and convenience store brands to deploy consistent loyalty functionality across sites that often have inconsistent retail technology. Drop Tank’s solutions unlock loyalty capabilities and a wide range of data services for consumer packaged goods companies and fuel marketers of all sizes.

Drop Tank was experiencing serious issues with integration between systems that severely impacted its ability to provide valuable rewards programs to a wide range of customers.  The proprietary systems used by gas stations for rewards processing posed a significant challenge for Drop Tank as it planned to expand its platform to include hotels, airlines, and retail partners for redemption of rewards points.

AST partnered with Drop Tank, its vendors, partners, and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive specification for an integration platform, using Oracle SOA Cloud Service, to ensure both current needs and future changes are addressed.  AST worked with Drop Tank as a business partner, rather than a vendor, to ensure the success of this and all future rewards programs.

Mr. Dawson, AST’s Director of Business Development for the Southeast, was awarded this honor for his ongoing efforts to deliver success to AST and Oracle customers.  Most recently, he was instrumental in presenting a winning solution to the City of Jacksonville, FL to improve its ERP systems with Oracle ERP Cloud.

EoM MaleCongratulations to Dharmender C., AST’s Employee of the Month for June 2018!

Dharmender is being recognized for his hard work and dedication as part of our PMO practice, and for his ongoing commitment to AST.  He always has a positive work ethic and is a valued team leader and trusted client advisor.

Dharmender successfully manages the complete account for one of AST’s largest and most well-known clients.  He has implemented multiple advanced Cloud modules for this client, resulting in high levels of client satisfaction and successful User Acceptance Testing in two days with no outstanding issues.  This is in no small part due to Dharmender’s excellent and effective leadership skills.  Because of this groundwork he laid with the client, AST has gained additional business and has added another trusted partnership to its roster.  Dharmender’s influence and hard work as the delivery resource and primary project manager has been instrumental in these accomplishments.

Congratulations to Dharmender on this well-deserved recognition!
