India celebrated the Baisakhi Festival in the office on Friday, April 12, with festive
decorations, traditional attire (including proudly adorning turbans, a symbol
of Sikh pride and valor), and a grand feast to conclude the celebration!
Baisakhi is celebrated
as a Spring harvest festival in Northern India – a celebration of the efforts
that lead to a bountiful harvest at the end of the year.

Earlier this month, AST’s Tech Services team attended the Oktane19 conference in San Francisco, CA, hosted by Okta.
The Oktane conference is an annual gathering of thousands
of IT professionals, product leaders, and developers who come together to
experience a great lineup of speakers, training, and events that explore a
broad range of topics related to identity, security, and digital
transformation.
Our team had a fantastic week in San Francisco as
we attended our first ever Oktane conference.
It was wonderful to meet the people behind Okta who selflessly give
their time and energy to making the world around them a better place – not just
in their products, but also with Okta’s day-to-day business and community

Read on to learn how a United States energy giant achieved an end-to-end
Cloud transformation of its operations with AST and Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud.
At Home in the Cloud with AST and Oracle
Business operations at a leading energy organization were partly
supported by an 18-year old legacy system. The accounting, supply chain, and
key business operations involved several stages of manual intervention and no
longer met the client’s business requirements. The intense manual effort involved
in back-office operations made month- and year-end activities incredibly
inefficient and nearly impossible.
The client required a complete transformation of its business operations
by replacing the legacy ERP system with a modern cloud platform. The client
needed a solution to automate and streamline its business processes and provide
significant improvements through the reduction of manual transactions and
integration complexity across the enterprise, while also providing the
adaptability for future growth and technology.
AST’s cross-pillar expertise and specific industry knowledge with ERP
transformation led the client to select AST as its partner of choice. AST
performed a detailed assessment of the challenges faced by the organization
with its existing ERP system, proposing Cloud roadmaps that addressed all
challenges.
AST recommended more than 30 Oracle Cloud products be implemented across
Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle SCM Cloud, and Oracle Planning &
Budgeting Cloud Service, proving to be the right fit to modernize business
operations for the energy firm.

OAUG and COLLABORATE, AST is spreading hope to San Antonio citizens in need,
and you can help!

We do this by providing, coordinating and delivering an efficient system
of are for people experiencing homelessness in Bexar County.”
