Oracle Cloud ERP Bolstered by Strategic Acquisitions

shutterstock_382765384Oracle has generated more than $12 billion in cloud software sales over the past year.  With software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions gaining significant demand in the ERP world, it’s no surprise that Oracle constantly seeks to enhance its offerings with strategic acquisitions to benefit its customers.

Several recent acquisitions are driving Oracle’s Cloud strategy.  From RightNow, to Taleo, Eloqua, and the most recent announcement, NetSuite, Oracle is not only expanding its footprint of Cloud Applications, but changing its foundation from traditional on-premise ERP to Cloud ERP.

With SaaS Applications, customers benefit from lower total cost of ownership, rapid adoption by users, quicker and less stressful upgrades, and much more.  It’s no surprise that Oracle is making big moves to provide these benefits to its customers.
