Throughout every project life cycle, we work closely with end users and your IT personnel to provide consistent and constant knowledge transfers. After a project is complete, your staff is thoroughly prepared to provide on-going support. Throughout the implementation and/or upgrade process on-going and rigid testing is designed to eliminate the need for post production support beyond what has been initially included as part of our service. If after all appropriate managers have indicated acceptance of the project as satisfactorily completed and if additional support services become necessary, the hourly rates and travel costs indicated herein for the specific consultant’s services will prevail.

Off Site Development

Considerable (typically four plus years) experience in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis, and program design. Experience managing implementation of information/software engineering projects and either in systems design, programming, or DBA with knowledge/experience in CASE tools/methods, or functional experience performing business systems analysis working with Oracle applications products. Knowledge of Oracle technology. Can apply enterprise-wide set of disciplines for planning, analysis, design and development of systems for multiple installations or a major sector. Analysis of clients’ processes and adaptation of products to clients’ needs.  Transform client needs into project design specifications. Develop and administer client-designed DB solutions. Prepare detailed design documents. Understand development according to Oracle Methodologies.

Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Staff Consultant

Experienced performing software or information engineering activities with at least three years working with Oracle products or other third or fourth generation languages in the design and development of database management systems, or functional experience performing business systems analysis working with Oracle applications products. Knowledge of applicable standards. Functional responsibility to analyze and study complex information systems requirements. Provide support using formal specifications, data-flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Use CASE tools to modify, customize and enhance product to meet clients’ needs. Demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Senior Consultant

Has strong interpersonal skills, as analysts spend much time with the users determining needs and processing functions.  Analysts usually

have programming backgrounds (minimum five years), although some companies have moved people from user departments into this position.  Performs tasks as part of a systems development team, to accomplish systems analysis and design of at least one major system, to accomplish a systems study, define user objectives and priorities, and to accomplish the external and internal systems design.  Analysts have thorough knowledge of the applications systems and often know much about the client’s business processes.  Analysts usually do much of the system design in addition to the analysis work.  This individual plans, directs and reports upon the progress of the phases of the development cycle and is the primary interface to user management.  In this context “senior” indicates knowledge of overall systems design, not just of individual programs.  Individual can fulfill the lead technical position on an application development project team, including determining the overall technical or computer system design of an application, planning of design and development phases.  The individual possesses an in-depth knowledge of current systems design and programming methodologies, and will be capable of directing and participating in the detailed design, coding and testing. The individual must be able to interface with the client or systems analyst and/or end users to gather and clarify requirements.

Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Principal Consultant/Team Lead

A project/team lead is responsible for scheduling and planning systems development.  This individual establishes time frames for job completion and sets priorities of work to be done.  A senior individual who has functioned in a managerial role, possesses in-depth technical experience and is qualified in all phases of the project development life cycle, from planning and design through implementation and all testing phases.  Has a history of successful systems implementation.  A project/team lead has experience in managing projects of varying size and scope and has supervised analysts and application programmers in various areas.  Can do some of the analysis, design, and programming work, but often work consists of providing technical assistance and leadership during all phases.  A minimum of 5 years of programming experience is required.

Minimum Education: BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Database Administrator (DBA)

Under minimal direction, analyzes current technical architecture (data, application, hardware, communications) of an organization and makes recommendations based on business requirements for future technical direction.  Involved in the evaluation of new and existing software products and their successful integration with existing hardware.  Familiar with all aspects of software development life cycle and methodologies, including object oriented development. 

Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Senior Applications Database Administrator (Sr. DBA)

Has detailed knowledge of database design and implementation and is responsible for accuracy, security, and accessibility of the company’s data.  The individual must maintain and fine tune the physical database through the use of utilities and software packages aimed at monitoring the state of the database.  He/she physically created the database files based upon the analysis done at the conceptual and logical phases of the design.  The ideal DBA is an individual possessing at least 8 years of extensive database administration experience but more often 10-12 years of related systems experience. Is completely familiar with all aspects of technical and administrative leadership.  In addition, the individual will possess familiarity with all aspects of system design and have knowledge of several programming languages.  Can accept managerial responsibilities, as the DBA evaluates, trains, and monitors the career paths of the programmers reporting to him/her.

Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Project Manager

He she will direct all daily activities of the project team. This individual is responsible for the success of a project.  Success applies to the fiscal responsibility, client perception, quality of work product, and development of staff.  Duties include risk and scope management, client interface, building and maintaining product plans, monitoring project progress, compliance with dollar and time constraints, assigning tasks to resources, monitoring staff performance and participating in performance and salary review of staff members.  Identifies and researches very complex problems using specialized knowledge and skills.  Project Manager typically possesses a minimum of 6 to 8 years experience.

Has full understanding of process management, QA, and project management methodologies and tools. Familiar with Oracle Methodologies and has practical experience with Joint Application Development and Rapid Application Deployment implementations. Serve as client focal point for project communications. Experience managing projects with diverse teams, including members from multiple clients. Experience managing complex projects with implementation requirements at multiple sites.

Minimum Education: BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience.

We do not provide any recruitment or subcontracting services.

The actual billing rate within the range indicated depends on the consultant’s years of experience and skills required for the assignment. If a complete project cost is required by customers in a RFP, we allocate consulting resources as per the requirements, determine the total hours required from each resource and use a firm rate to calculate the total project cost.
