Prior employment:

Born in:
Manila, Philippines
About myself:
I am the youngest of 5 children and the only girl. This probably helped with my knowledge of sports trivia and rules. I play basketball, softball, ice/roller skate, ski/snowboard, and bowl. I love to travel and have traveled to 80 cities in 17 countries on 4 continents. I lived in Paris, France in my mid-20s and try to travel overseas as much as possible.
Specialties:
I’m the Queen of useless knowledge and can pitch a great 16” softball game.
What inspires me:
My children and my husband. I see in my children their precocious and imaginative minds working all the time and how open minded and accepting they are of all people. My husband is the best and selfless person I know. They inspire me everyday to be a better person and not to take life too seriously. They have helped me to embrace the present, not to dwell in the past and to look forward to the future.
Favorite childhood movie:
Star Wars - Yes, I’m a geek at heart.
Favorite movies now:
Star Wars Trilogy (the original ones), LOTR Trilogy, The Godfather I & II, Pride and Prejudice (BBC), Philadelphia Story, Sound of Music, Saturday Night Fever, Aliens, Exorcist, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers movies.
Favorite childhood toy:
My tricycle that had a passenger seat in the back.
Favorite food to eat or cook:
I LOVE sushi but I like any type of food and love to cook.
Favorite music:
Anything except for country/western music.
Musical instrument:
Piano. My biggest regret is that I quit playing in high school after 7 years but I have just recently started playing again.
Idol:
My parents. They lived the American dream by moving the entire family to the U.S. when I was four years old. They worked hard throughout their lives which afforded us a loving home, a comfortable life and helped us all attain our college education. They have been great role models for our families.
When I was young I wanted to be:
A teacher.
Favorite quote:
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” Mark Twain
First concert:
David Soul (my aunt took me with her).
