IL – Recognizing AST Corporation’s extensive Oracle Applications and Database
experience with airport and aviation clients, The Hillsborough County
Aviation Authority has selected AST Corporation to serve as the Authority’s
Oracle Consulting arm. With the
Authority seeking to keep its business critical software applications up to
date, it required a consulting firm with extensive experience in Oracle
Public Sector Applications including applications and database upgrade,
multi-org configuration and work within a Linux environment. AST was selected
to provide strategic services across all Oracle modules including GL, AR, AP,
PO, INV, and PA. Initial project
services will be for general upgrade of Oracle software. Other services may include: requirements
analysis, design and development, security requirements, mentoring of
Authority staff members, and training selected end-users. AST’s proven methodologies and its
airport-related Oracle experience will help the Authority to maximize its
return on investment, realize the full benefits offered by Oracle E-Business
Suite, and supply the Authority with long-term vision and strategy for its
Oracle systems. AST, an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner, will commence initial work for the Authority in February 2006.
